Meumann-style ergograph.

(Ergograph nach Meumann.)
Description: A version of an ergograph specially designed for school use, without any recording apparatus. There is, however, a counter mounted on the [base] plate. The illustration does not show the additional partial [recording] drum which is used to show results of repeated lifting. The illustration clearly shows the securing, padded sleeve which is placed around the middle finger, lying horizontal on the plate, connected to the pulley, with a weight hanging down on the right side. The arm is held in place by adjustable clamps. A indicator marks the place where the finger is attached, so that the movement process can be exactly replicated.
