Piston (actuated) recorder.

(Piston Rekorder.)
Description: The air pressure from a transducer can be used to move a piston of hard rubber which moves in a polished glass cylinder and acts on the writing pen through a double linkage. This is especially suited for volumetric recording, since comparable volumes are completely comparable. (Expanded caption Copyright 1998, Edward J. Haupt)
