Marey-style tambour (drum).

(Mareyscher Tambour.)
Description: This is a drum with a nipple for a rubber tube which attaches to a kymograph. As the drum moves up and down in response to the air pressure, the writing bristle on the kymograph drum is moved. This is the smallest model available, which is designed to eliminate linkages and located in a spring. There is no "dead" action of the writing band. (Expanded caption Copyright 1998, Edward J.
