Marey-style transmitting sphygmograph

(Transmissions Sphygmanograph nach Marey.)
Description: Blood pressure driven pulses in the upper chamber produce changes in air pressure in the upper drawer which are transmitted through tubing. The kymograph can thus be placed at a distance from the animal which is being operated/experimented upon. (Expanded caption Copyright 1998, Edward J. Haupt)
