Ludwig-style current/flow clock

(Stromuhr nach Ludwig.)
Description: The medium-large version, which encloses (blood) vessels of about 50 cu cm. This appears to be a clock in the same sense that a sand-filled glass can be called a clock, since the oil in one chamber is forced into the saline solution in the other. The vessels are both the same size and connected by a U- shaped tube. The known volume to the containers is used to determine blood volume flow rate, since the number of times the standard volume is filled can be used to calculate the volume flow.
