Volkmann-style Hemadrometer

(Hämodrometer nach Volkmann.)
Description: This, as No. 275, is a device for measuring blood flow velocity. The blood is taken by needles to flow through a longish u-shaped glass tube, which is opened by a pair of linked stopcocks. This is a useful device for intermittent measurement of blood flow velocity, since the blood can either flow through the U-tube or directly through the apparatus.
