Kymograph for continuing supplied paper.

(Kymographion für fortlaufendes (sogen. endloses) papier.)
Description: This holder for continuous paper is different in that it provides a pulley (see upper left corner of 226a) which can be driven by a motor and has the usual Baltzar-style friction drive for varying the speed of the paper. This is an extremely expensive device which might cost the equivalent of a full year's salary. (Expanded caption Copyright 1998, Edward J. Haupt)
