(Zeitmarke-Deprez-Signal)
Description: This is a device that is attached to a kymograph to
mark the occurrence of switch-initiated voltage pulses with high
accuracy. It was invented by a French engineer named Deprez. It
is usually a pair of electromagnets which can be used to move a
marker up or down. This can be used in connection with a
metronome to create a regular time signal. (Expanded caption
