Wundt's sound interruptor [pulse generator]

(Schallunterbrecher nach Wundt)
Description: This apparatus apparently produces a pulse of a certain tone. The tone comes through a tube to a rotating disk. The disk has 15 precisely sized holes which can each be filled with a stopper. The speed of the disk can be calibrated through a rotation counter which is mentioned but not shown. Seems sort of Rube Goldberg to me. (Expanded caption Copyright 1998, Edward J. Haupt)
