Description: This apparatus allows the measurement of visual
acuity by presenting two glowing lines made by heating platinum
filaments, The filaments can be set to variable gap sizes at a
constant distance from the subject's eye in all parts of the
visual field. A fixation point allows the position of the
filaments to be placed at any point in the visual field.
