Wirth's memory apparatus

(Gedächtnisapparat nach Wirth)
Description: Open box showing solenoids used to move a circular card. This apparatus was used for the presentation of verbal stimuli at variable rates. The box is open revealing the circular card on which the stimuli are printed. This seems like an imitation of Ranschburg's apparatus, but the disk is driven by weights to move the solenoids..
