THE 1997 ANTIQUE WIRELESS ASSOCIATION CONVENTION

The annual convention of the Antique Wireless Association was held in near-perfect weather in Rochester New York in September. Many of the most active key collectors attended, and swapped keys and stories from before dawn each day until late at night..

The Annual Key and Telegraph symposium was

chaired by Canadian Collector Murray Willer:(8KB)

The session began with the presentation of awards for outstanding contributions to knowledge in the field of Telegraph to:

Murray Willer:(10KB)
and to

Roger Reinke:(9KB)

After the initial excitement of the pre-dawn hunt for exotic keys, several collectors gathered for a group photograph.
